Bridal Boutique – Flower Girls Outfits

Eeeeeeeek so I am overexcited today… it might be the large scoops of ice cream and strawberries I just devoured (diet on hold) or it might be the fact that my wedding dress has…

ARRIVED!!!

double eeeeek! Can’t believe it is already here, I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it! My fittings start in the next few weeks … darn, perhaps that second scoop of ice cream was a mistake…

Anyway on with today’s post… we are looking at the sweetest members of the bridal party today… sugar and spice and all things nice … Flower Girls! and more specifically the little darling’s outfits and what they should wear for the wedding!

I’m very lucky to have two little flower girls at our wedding and I’m so excited to have them there. They are going to be absolutely gorgeous in their little outfits and I want them to have an amazing time and get them the best possible dresses so they can feel like princesses for the day. Oh, and I will of course get them presents… hmmm I wonder if the little flowers would want one of these gorgeous gifts from this previous post?

To help me find the perfect outfits for my little princesses I am going to look at a variety of different fashions, from the Queen’s flower girls to British top models I am scouring the web to find the best selection.

So before I feel the urge to grab a third scoop of ice cream (why am I never bothered with thirds for the strawberries?!) let’s begin.

I don’t think you can think of flower girls without your thoughts drifting to the most perfect wedding party.

Kate Moss’ flower girls were absolutely gorgeous, they looked like they had fallen out of Enid Blyton’s The Enchanted Wood and the real flowers in the girl’s hair were truly spellbinding.

Oh how I would have loved to photograph this wedding!

It’s amazing, this photograph truly shows that styles do come back! Very similar flower garlands in the girls’ hair!

Much more traditional dresses though, classic and beautiful.

Look at these adorable flower girls, they have more responsibility then just the petal throwing!

These lime green tutus are so perfect for the feel of this wedding.

I love how much concentration spreading the petals is taking.

Of course, the flower girl outfits don’t necessarily all have to match…

These pretty girlies look all grown up in their pretty dresses! Cool handbag by the way… I want!!

Aaaaww…literally a little angel! I love the wings, soooo cute!

First down the aisle comes the angel, then the goddess!

(well…that’s the idea anyway, hope I can pull it off!)

Bless them all! I can’t wait to see my little flower girls in their outfits, they’re going to look amazing! But I think we should probably leave it there before I get any more broody!! Think about the dress, think about the dress… I wonder what my daughter’s wedding dress would be like… uh oh, this post may not have been a good idea!
