Today we have a little photographic treat for you in the form of Eloise & Ben’s beautiful wedding at Yorkshire’s Crab Manor in Thirsk, captured by friend of the blog, the amazing Toast of Leeds. Crab Manor is such a cool and quirky venue and the gorgeous couple’s plans fit their surroundings perfectly, so to tell you a little more about it we’ll hand over to the lovely Shelly, a.k.a Toast of Leeds!
Crab Manor in Thirsk is not your average wedding venue. Stuffed full of deep sea divers, a yeti, a skeleton hanging from the ceiling, vintage typewriters and odd ball knick knacks, it’s not the kind of place for your average couple. But then Eloise and Ben aren’t exactly average.
Eloise and Ben were married in the Orangery at Crab Manor surrounded by friends and family. Eloise looked like a model straight from the pages of Vogue in her amazing Amanda Wakeley gown and her blue hydrangea bouquet was created by her clever mum, Fiona, who had also spent months growing and drying flowers for confetti. Ben looked suitably ace in his Paul Smith attire outshone only by pageboy Ethan.
Their reception was held in the Manor’s restaurant, the Crab and Lobster famed for it’s amazing seafood. The table plan was based around literary classics (which guests also got to take home with them as little mementoes of the wedding), and their reception featured a whole host of eclecticism that suited the venue down to the ground…
