Blimey, it comes around quick doesn’t it….
I want to continue from my last column where I talked about pretty bridal eye makeup.
My next step would be blusher. Blusher is one of my favourite cosmetics yet it is one of the most overlooked and one of the most under-rated products too. Some people love it and some hate it but on your wedding day I can’t stress enough how important it is to wear it.
If you’re a real ‘Blusher Virgin’ try using it for a few weeks before your big day to get used to the look it gives and if you really hate it then try using a bronzer focusing more on the apples of your cheeks for just a slightly flushed pinch of colour.
Blusher really lifts your face and gives you a lovely glow which is perfect for any bride on her big day gives your features definition so you really glow on your photographs.
I’m sure nobody will be surprised that some of my favourite colours are from Bobbi Brown but I also love Nars powder blush in ‘Orgasm’.
Bobbi Brown also do their infamous Shimmer Brick which adds a subtle highlight to the cheek bone perfectly and can also be used on the collar bone for added definition.

Lips can either be defined or natural with lipstick in a pretty peach or pinky coral colour or can be natural with a slick of gloss.
Be careful with just using pale gloss as again, your mouth can get lost on your photographs.
Using a lip liner all over your lips can give a nice base to your lips to then add gloss or using a lip liner, lipstick then a gloss would really finish your look off completely.
I’m loving Estee Lauder glosses at the moment and also Liz Earl glosses from her new ‘Colour’ range.
Lancome Juicy Tubes are a staple product of my kit as they are long lasting and non-sticky, however the choice of colours has been drastically reduced leaving me to wonder about their future.
This whole look will ensure that on your big day you will not only look amazing, beautiful and confident but that your photographs will be stunning too.
PRODUCT OF THE FORTNIGHT
My product of the fortnight this time is Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. This product is simply stunning with different layered colours in a compact so you can use the individual colours as eye shadows or sweep your blusher brush across all the colours and use as a blusher/highlighter. Shimmer Brick comes in a variety of colours and even the most beautiful Rose Gold Limited Edition colour but my all time favourite for usability and for a ‘suit all’ product has to be ‘Bronze’…simply stunning.
