This week our Story Frame comes to you from the rustically spectacular Yorkshire wedding of Laura and Tim in a beautiful village hall near Huddersfield.
This frame shows the reaction of the overwhelmed Bride and her new husband as her four best friends stood before the congregation and read a poem they had collectively written about the couple. What a fantastic moment and one I’m sure the Bride and Groom will never forget.
You can see the full story of this beautiful wedding in pictures (and video) here.
Don’t forget, if you have a Story Frame you’d like us to feature on Bride Vs Groom then we’d love to see it! You can send us any pictures via our submissions page.
The Weekly Round-Up
Well it’s our Honeymoon week so naturally we’re… blogging. Yeah ok so we may not be great at the whole holidaying thing but hey, we couldn’t wait to tell you our wedding story! So, in case you missed anything let’s get straight to it!
As you all know the story of our relationship hasn’t always run exactly smoothly… in fact there’s been one or two absolute disasters!! We’ve mused about “The Curse” before, but for those that didn’t believe us you HAVE to read Monday’s post… Breaking the Curse…well, trying to anyway!
A rather excited Dom got to finally reveal all about her wedding dress on Tuesday in the Bridal Boutique! After being shrouded in secrecy for so long to keep from revealing anything from yours truly it seems she may have been a little keen to talk about it…
In Wednesday’s post we revealed a little secret we’d been keeping pretty close to our chests. When dealing with the legalities of getting married abroad things aren’t always simple, as we reveal in “You Only Wed Twice”
On Thursday our fabulous Makeup Artist Helen Guy was back with more wise words of advice, this time on Bridal Headwear. This week it’s all about Tiaras but make sure you come back in a fortnight to find out about some more gorgeous alternatives!
On Friday we used the benefit of hindsight to revisit a rather topical debate in The Friday Fight-Out – Domestic Vs Destination Weddings… which is the better way to go and what might we have done differently?
And finally, on Saturday we had a great guest post feature from Red Seven with their suggestions of the best Stag and Hen Party Games to set your final night of bachelor(ess)hood alight!
So that’s it for this week, next week we’ll be returning to normal life but reliving the best week of our lives as we tell you a little more about our wedding with the hopes our story can help you with your own wedding plans! We hope to see you, but until then,
Have an awesome day!
