Bride Vs Groom » Wedding Experiences & Guidance for the Bride & Groom

Masthead header

Traditional, vintage, quirky, rustic, every wedding is unique and each has its own story to tell. We love weddings and adore photography and our guidelines are simple: we want to feature great story-telling wedding photography that can offer real inspiration to our readers. We don’t care about how many ‘details’ there were, we don’t care if it fits into a particular style. What we care about is seeing fantastic photography that tells the story of two people who fell in love… that’s what a wedding is actually about after all!

If you think you have a wedding that fits the bill then drop us an email with the link. We’ll take a look and see whether we’re able to feature it: simple! If you know who the other suppliers were then great, let us know! If not then no worries… it’s about sharing inspiration through couple’s stories, not who supplied the seat covers.

Oh, one more thing… no weddings that have been featured on other blogs (other than your own) please! We wouldn’t want to step on any toes now would we! And remember, it’s about getting across a story of the couple and their day with strong documentary moments. If your posed shots and any details add to the story then great, but on the whole we want to see the wedding the way it really was.

Bride Vs Groom VideographersWe love watching wedding films and want to feature the best videos out there! For us a wedding video is about two things: great artistry and great story-telling. If it keeps us gripped from beginning to end and we feel it has something special and unique about it then we’d love to feature it!

If you have a video you’d like us to take a look at then just send us the link, we’d love to check it out! If your video is chosen to be featured we’ll drop you an email to get a few details and get the info on how to embed it. Generally if you’ve enabled the embed options on Vimeo we can take care of the rest!

Brides and Grooms

If you’d like to see your wedding featured on Bride Vs Groom we’d love to hear from you! You’ll need to get your photographer or videographer’s permission before submitting it and you can either ask them to send us a link to the images or we can send you an email telling you how to get the photos to us.

We love to hear the story from both the Bride and Groom’s perspectives so if selected we will send out a questionnaire for each of you (don’t worry, it’s really simple!) We love hearing all the little stories about your wedding journey, from how the proposal happened to where you ended up on honeymoon, so if you’ve got a story you think we’d find interesting then let us know!

If you have a post about a particular topic, product or service that you’d like us to feature on Bride Vs Groom then we’d love to read it! If you send the article to us get in touch and talk to us about your idea for an article we’re more than happy to take a look and see if we think it fits in with the Bride Vs Groom ethos! We prefer articles to include pictures where possible, but please make sure any images are sent with the consent of the copyright holder before including them. We are of course more than happy to credit and backlink you and your company as the writer… in fact we insist! Oh, and keep it original… we like our material fresh and unique!

Everyone featured on Bride Vs Groom will also receive the Bride Vs Groom ‘featured on’ badge which you can proudly display on your own website!
