Weekly Wedding Inspiration – Easter Special P2

Bride Vs Groom, Wedding BlogDear Reader,

I’m sorry to say that the blog post you are reading on your iPad, iPhone, iTouch (other models are available) [delete as appropriate] is extremely unpleasant. It tells an unhappy tale about one very unlucky bride. Even though she is charming and clever, the bride’s life is filled with misery and woe. From the first word of the post where she utters the words “of course I will marry you” disaster follows her like a plague, fear nipping at her heels. One might say she is a magnet for misfortune.

In this short blog post alone, she encounters a greedy and repulsive sales assistant, expanding clothing, a catastrophic collision with a trolley, an evil devil intent on stealing her prize and cold spinach for lunch.

It is my sad duty to write down these unpleasant tales, but there is nothing stopping you from putting this iPad, iPhone, iTouch (other models are available) [delete as appropriate] down at once and reading something happy, if you prefer that sort of thing.

For it is my sad duty to tell you a horrendous and horrifying, spine chilling and gut wrenching truth….

Yes, it’s true, they all “vanished” in the dead of night without a whisper. There was a mysterious trail of chocolate crumbs going towards the sofa of a certain individual who may or may not be named… snoring with his head in the air, blissfully unaware of his wretched fate as a man bereft of important items of his former possession.

Who really needs a PLAYSTATION 3 after all?!!! The “MAN” must be stopped!

EDIT: I may or may not have “borrowed” the genius work of The Bad Beginning (A Series of Unfortunate Events) by Lemony Snicket AND I may or may not have made up that entire story to squelch the guilt I am feeling inside of me as I may or may not have eaten the chocolate *whispers* …. *small voice* … ….. ….

Phew! So now that I have got that off my chest (literally; chocolate stains are a nightmare to get rid of!) welcome back to the Weekly Wedding Inspiration, Easter Special Part TWO!!!!

Before I feel the urge to reveal more dark deep (chocolate) secrets, I think we best begin shall we?!

Pocketful of dreams has the loveliest blog post online at the moment How to decorate an Easter Dining Table.

“And it doesn’t have to be all bunnies and pastels ~ although the latter is very de rigour right now. No, you can still celebrate the season, albeit in a more sophisticated manner by choosing muted colours, think Farrow and Ball style earthy tones, dusky pinks and duck egg blues, set against whitewashed or even rustic wooden furniture.”

And finally, let’s end how we mean to continue… with CAKE!

Adore by Chloe has a yummy recipe for making Easy Easter Lemon Drizzle Cake…

I think we all should pretty much agree that Chloe is amazing and a wondrous human being… LOVE HER!

So, my friends it is with great regret that we end the Easter special, I felt like we were just getting started but alas no more Easter posts… until next year that is!

Don’t forget, if you missed Easter Special Part 1 you can catch up here.

I’m off to see how long Easy Easter Lemon Drizzle Cake takes to rise… maybe I can eat it raw?!

Hmmm… I foresee tummy pains in my future!

Is it bad that the cake is worth the pain?

I think not.
