Following last week’s Bridal Boutique where we showed you some gorgeous little flower girl outfits, today’s post was due to be bringing you all of our favourite little Page boy outfits. However, before scouring the land for the best in mini groom-wear we thought we’d ask our own Page boy for his thoughts on his important role at the wedding and the sort of clothing he would like to wear. Children are, after all, not widely known for sitting quietly through a long ceremony so it’s always best to make sure they feel happy, comfortable and relaxed, ready to enjoy the occasion with the rest of the guests. So what did our young friend have to say? This was his reply:

Daddy says you have askered me to be a page box for your getting marred. I would like to be a page box but only if I don’t have to hold ANY FLOWERS because flowers are 4 girls. I will keep your rings safe in my pocket and Buzz Lightyear will look after them because he is brave and says to infynty and be-ond and he can fly and is friends with woody and I will also guard them with my lightsaber and a spoon and if they are haribo rings I will not eat them even though I really like Haribo specially the strawberries but the rings are nice as well.

I would like to wear a black suit and black trousers and a Darth Vader mask and some wellys that are green in case it rains and I have to jump in a puddle. Daddy says there might be flower girls but I don’t want to be near smelly girls and I would like balloons not flowers and I think you should wear wellys too so we can jump in puddles together but not if it is sunny and yours should be white becos you are the brid. Mummy said if I am gud and look smart there will be sweeties for me but I would like a hexbug instead but I want the red one not the pink one because that’s his sister and I’ve already got that one.

My Mummy says there will be a big giant cake at the wedding and I would like chocolate cake cos chocolate cake is yummy and I promise not to drop it on my shirt and get all chocolatey. I hope you are getting weddinged at the weekend becos i go to school on Monday and Toosday and Friday and Fursday and I am busy at playtimes.

I have to go now becos daddy says it is bath time and I am a good boy and I have a submarine.

So with those top tips in mind next week we’ll be bringing you our top finds of Page Boy fashion… You see, always worth doing a bit of market research; I confess I probably wouldn’t have thought about a Darth Vader mask and lightsaber, though don’t tell Matt, he’ll want one himself! At least those rings are in safe hands though! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have toy shopping to do!
