So if anyone missed last week’s bridal boutique post I’m afraid there was a startling development… Matt’s little nephew had taken it upon himself to write me a letter with his demands for the wedding, if you missed his charming letter you can catch it here. Amongst the little devil’s demands was his desire to wear a Darth Vader outfit to the wedding. Now don’t tell Matt but as a closet Star Wars fan I actually am pretty in favour of this; the wedding isn’t going to be traditional anyway and how CUTE would he look walking down the aisle in a Darth Vader costume?! I’m a little in love with the idea. But if the little cheeky chappie is pulling my leg then I need to think of a back up solution. So I have been searching on the web again for some more formal outfits for my naughty (but oh so sweet!) page boy.
I’m loving this blue and white checkered shirt, combined with the deep blue waistcoat works very well.
Great price too!
These kids are far too cool for school!
Loving the trainers with the suits, how adorable and I bet a lot more comfortable for the little rug rats to run around in.
A bow tie, a sun hat AND sun glasses?!
It’s too much.. CUTE ALERT! This is a perfect little outfit for a summer wedding!
A little bit more formal but the combination of shirt and tie PLUS page boy is a win for me!
At £50 its affordable and smart!
For an extremely traditional wedding, top hats, tails and all.. what about choosing this little gem for your page boy?
Waistcoat and cravat have cream diamond detail with silver flecks and the outfits start from 0-3 months.. ! Awwwwwwwww
Admittedly if it’s fit for royalty it might be too much for most people’s pockets and, let’s face it, taste! But if you are planning a wedding and want to feel like a princess for a day why not consider dressing your page boys in bright, regally coloured fabrics?
Ok who I am kidding?! I can’t help but think about the darth vader outfit, I mean C’MON check out how utterly adorable he would look….
AND I have the PERFECT outfit for his little brother…
Now I just have to persuade a (fairly amused) M.O.B and M.I.L. that this is a good idea… Maybe if I found them both a Princess Leia outfit?! Hang on no, this is a bad idea, in fact I’m slightly concerned about where this wedding is going! Me walking down the aisle to “The Imperial March”? Paddington dressed as Yoda? An awkward moment between our Sith Lord page boy and the groom as the priest addresses the gathered guests:
“Speak now or forever hold you peace…”
“Matt… I am your father”
“Nooooooooooooooooo!!!”
Ok, I think this wedding planning maybe getting to me a little… only one thing for it: time for some serious chocolate cake!!
Oh god… is that the dark side calling?
