Story Frames and the Weekly Round-up

Story Frames

This week’s Story Frame comes from the intimate wedding of Sarah and Stuart at Scarborough’s Ox Pasture Hall. We chose it because sometimes a bit of clapping just isn’t enough of a celebration of two people getting married, and we feel that this guest got it spot on!

Well said that boy! Love that cheeky happy grin, throw your fists in the air like you just don’t care, this is a celebration after all!

Love it! Don’t forget to send us your story frame, we love to see them and hear your stories and you never know, you might just be next week’s story!

The Weekly Round-up

Well, it’s been a busy week at Bride Vs Groom HQ once again and as I write this Dom is off photographing another wedding which probably means it’s the weekend once again! Hurrah! So, here’s the run down of what’s been going on on Bride Vs Groom this week!

Monday’s musings drew a little bit to a halt when your gormless groom was struck by the dreaded writer’s block! Not one to pass up the opportunity of a little irony though I thought I’d write about it!

On Tuesday the Bridal Boutique was open for business with a guest post by the brilliant jewellers Samara James entitled Everything but the Ring – What Jewellery to Wear On Your Wedding Day“, check it out for some expert advice!

dancing_bear_On Wednesday it was time to party after the sleepy Island of La Palma awoke from it’s slumber and let us GET ON WITH PLANNING OUR WEDDING in: The Wedding Diaries – Post Siesta Fiesta

make-up-tipsWe always love to hear from our fantastic resident makeup artist Helen Guy and Thursday was no different as she began a new series of summer tutorials starting with false eyelashes… even I could do them using Helen’s tips if only I was that way inclined!

This week’s Friday Fight-out pitched flowers against balloons in a fight to the death. It was admittedly a particularly slow fight to the death though with neither being particularly good for bludgeoning purposes as it turns out…

And finally the weekend saw Dom heading off to another wedding all excited about seeing another gorgeous bride on her big day, and so for our Weekly Wedding Inspiration she decided to share with you some photographs of the bridal looks that have inspired her!

And the best news of the week… there was actually SUNSHINE!!! So once you’ve finished catching up, get out there, check out a venue, get some floral ideas or sample some menus in your local pub… basically get out there and enjoy yourselves!

See you next week!
